This class will incorporate the asanas (physical poses), pranayama (breathing exercises), and brief meditations. Proper alignment, movement and breath will be emphasized. Standing, balancing poses, inversions, backbends, and forward bends will be practiced. Along with presence of mind, this class will focus on body awareness as well as development of the connection between practicing yoga on the mat and practicing the spirit of yoga in everyday life.
All levels are welcome, and previous yoga experience is a plus but not a requirement. The instructor will offer options to customize the practice to fit individual students’ needs. Taught by Motus Core Artists Katelin Ryan and Jenny Thomas and guest artist Jamie Corydon.
