Pairings was such a success! We had a great time showing our choreography and performing. We are so grateful to everyone for making it possible. I have to thank my hubby for contributing his time and amazing talents as our chef. For everyone who came and made the night possible, thank you much. You really were a fun audience! Webster will need a new word to define how wonderful Katie Kasper was. I know our board put countless hours into planning the entire event and Motus is very lucky to have all of them! Thanks to our director Heidi for all of the time and planning she put in as well. And it was so wonderful to the lovely faces of everyone who came out and volunteered; your help was invaluable.
But, there is no rest for Motus. We have a lot coming up! We have the Teen Intensive coming up this weekend and I am very excited to be teaching the Improvisation class. It’s always inspiring to see the next generation of dancers.
Then after a weekend off for the 4th of July holiday we will start the Breaking Ground workshop on July 10th (meeting every Sunday July 10th-31st) which I have the honor of leading again this year. Breaking Ground is a choreography workshop that is open to all levels. Whether you have little dance training but would like to explore creating movement, a dancer who would like to be in other’s choreography during the workshop, or if you are an experienced choreographer who wants the chance to work on a new piece, this workshop is for you! We create a positive environment in which everyone can move, create and share.
