100 Acres: The Virginia B. Fairbanks Art and Nature Park
June 20, 2010 @ Indianapolis Museum of Art
On June 20, 2010 the Indianapolis Museum of Art will open 100 Acres: The Virginia B. Fairbanks Art and Nature Park. 100 Acres will feature 7 works by commissioned artists and be one of the largest museum art parks in the country. For the opening of the park, Motus Dance Theatre to develop a performance in response to Kendall Buster’s Stratum Pier.
Breaking Ground Workshop
Every other Sunday, June 27, 2010 – August 8, 2010 @ MotuSpace
Participants will work on creating new performance art, collaborations, and choreography with a focus on giving and receiving constructive criticism with peers.
Cultivate (A Choreographer’s Showcase)
November 19, 2010 & November 20, 2010, 8pm @ White Rabbit Cabaret
Indy’s emerging choreographers will participate in a shared concert. The process will include applications with previous work samples, auditions, free studio space, feedback and support, interactive internet applications with choreographer blogs and audience response, as well as media criticism.
